About US
A Picture Is Worth, LLC was started by Sydney Lekach in 1980. He graduated Fordham University where he earned a Masters degree in history. He turned a lifelong interest in images and imaging into A Picture Is Worth, LLC This interest goes back to high school where he was a sports photographer for the school paper. In the same period he did photography from helicopters for the Sandy Hook Marine Laboratory.
A Picture Is Worth LLC originally started as a visual support service for attorneys. From the earliest beginnings it has provided still evidence for use in litigation, as well as video depositions, video settlement brochures, day in the life productions, and scene surveys. A Picture Is Worth, LLC has videotaped everything from mansions in Boca Raton, Florida to hospital rooms in Manhattan. We know what a lawyer is looking for. We know the importance of carefully interacting with their clients.
With the advent of the home VCR, A Picture Is Worth, LLC took the opportunity to become one of the initial firms involved in the video wedding business. Once again it is so much more than just the technological capability. Building a comfortable relationship with our customers is a top priority. A Picture Is Worth prides itself on being unobtrusive. Above all weddings should be fun.
Over the years we have made numerous important contacts within the television industry. We have worked on many important projects with Steven Babb, who has earned four Emmy Awards for his outstanding editing work with CBS. We have developed relationships with skilled cameramen and other larger video companies. We can call upon these resources should the project require.
We especially enjoy working with smaller to midsized firms to help tell their story. If it is Web presence or training procedures , what ever the need we provide the required service at the right price.
When Engineering and Professional Services Inc. called upon us to provide a Request for Proposal from the U.S. Government, we were there. When they needed video support in aid of a $400,000,000 bid, we came through.
What do we look forward to? . . . the next challenge, be it a government proposal, a deposition, or a wedding. It doesn’t matter what the job is. It only matters that we produce the best possible product.
